Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles Returns Report: Match

Sent a feedback request through "help" section on TK website requesting a status match: after a little back-and-forth (because Asante has no cards yet), got a Status Challenge to Elite. They need proof of status, validity term and excerpt of flights taken. Trial period 4 months: if 1 flight is taken with Turkish yielding miles in the trial period, the status is extended another 8 months. See message below on how to further extend validity after that: We’re pleased to inform you that as of 29.09.2023, the status of your membership TK283094436 has been raised to Elite. We’re excited to be able to offer you more benefits and advantages with Miles&Smiles. There are a few details about your upgrade to Elite that we’d like to tell you about: /QUOTE The first 4 months of your Elite membership is considered as the trial period. Within this period, you are required to realize at least one Turkish Airlines international flight in which you gain miles. At the end of the trial period, if your membership account includes at least one Turkish Airlines international flight in which you gained miles, your Elite membership is prolonged for 8 months more.(i.e. it remains valid for 1 year in total after the match). If you reach 15,000 Status Miles in the international flights you will perform with Turkish Airlines in the first year of your Elite membership, your membership is extended for 1 more year (i.e. it remains valid for 2 years in total after the match). /UNQUOTE
