Marriott Bonvoy Returns Report: Challenge

Called Bonvoy. Registered for the 2023 Status challenge (to Platinum Elite) over call. Got registered for the challenge immediately. Full TnC below: - The Platinum Elite Status Challenge is for existing Members of Marriott Bonvoy®. Registration is required to participate. - In order to register in an Elite Status Challenge, a Member must have at least one qualifying activity within the past 24 months. It may take up to 24 hours after the eligible activity is completed for the system to allow the Member to enroll. - A Member can only take advantage of an Elite Status Challenge once between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023. A Member cannot register for more than one Elite Status Challenge at a time, or switch between the Gold Elite and Platinum Elite Status Challenges during the promotion period. Registration must occur between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023. There is no retroactive registration for the Platinum Elite Status Challenge. The earning date begins the day of registration. Credit towards offer cannot be given for past stays. - Only one room per night, per hotel at a qualified paid rate at participating properties is eligible for this promotion; Award Nights do not count. - Eligible Stays across all brands count towards promotion credit except Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments, The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, BVLGARI, Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks and other hotels that do not participate in Marriott Bonvoy®. For a list of participating properties please visit the Marriott Bonvoy® Terms and Conditions. - If a Member completes the Platinum Elite Status Challenge by achieving sixteen paid qualifying nights within 90 days of the registration date the member will be upgraded to Platinum Elite status for one year. Members who do not meet the qualifying night requirement within the earning period will achieve the membership level which corresponds to the number of qualifying nights stayed: 0-9 qualifying nights stayed earns a Marriott Bonvoy® Member status 10-24 qualifying nights stayed earns Marriott Bonvoy® Silver Elite status 25-49 qualifying nights stayed earns Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite status 50-74 qualifying nights stayed earns Marriott Bonvoy® Platinum Elite status - After the first year, Platinum Elite status will be retained by staying the required number of qualifying nights under the terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy® program. - A confirmation email will not be sent upon registration or Platinum Elite Status Challenge completion. - Cancellations cannot be executed once Platinum Elite Status Challenge request has been submitted. - Offer is non-transferable. The Platinum Elite Status Challenge is subject to modification, cancellation, or limitation at Marriott's discretion, with or without notice. - Elite Benefits vary by brands and based on availability.
