Contacted Emirates Live Chat via their website and asked to match BA Gold and they advised they could only match 1 level above current status. A challenge was offered.
"Emirates Skywards offers tier upgrades only to the next level. As your account is Blue, we can review for Silver status.
You will be required to complete one of the two flight options in the coming 12 months:
· Option #1: Two roundtrip Emirates flights in Economy class (Flex or Flex Plus fare)
OR
· Option #2: One roundtrip Emirates flight in Business or First class"
I contact them once I completed a roundtrip in first and the match was done within 24 hours.
