Contacted via EK website's chat, they got back to me after a couple of days with a useless challenge (for me) Silver has a very low value and putting a CDG-DXB-CDG ticket in J on EK's loyalty would nearly qualify me for silver without status matching. Would be useful for a very short loop from DXB to a local destination but I don't do that "Thanks for contacting us regarding your status match request.
