British Airways Executive Club Returns Report: Deny

Sent an e-mail and got this answer: Thank you for writing to The Club about your current tier status with Smiles Diamond and your wish to upgrade your Executive Club account to the same level. I'm sorry to disappoint you, however it's not our policy to match the status of another frequent flyer programme. Tier status, as you know, is our way of recognising and rewarding our most loyal and frequent travellers. To upgrade certain Club members to higher tiers which other members have worked hard to achieve would be unfair and undervalue their continued support. Considering this and everything you mentioned, at this time I'm sorry to say we're unable to approve your request. We hope that you will consider travelling more with British Airways anyway, and look forward to welcoming you on board our flights. I hope you may find this information useful.
