Got an instantaneous notification and email "Welcome to SIXT Platinum!" Note - for some reason, because I had a preexisting, basic, profile, it created a second profile/number for platinum status. Since platinum is as high as you can get (normally based on # of rentals), and the next step up, Diamond, is invite only, the lesser can be deleted. Sixt allows multiple profiles/numbers under a username/log-in so people can separate personal from corporate rentals, etc.

Go to the flying blue website, search for car rental partners and follow the steps on the website (you get redirected to a sixt page where you have to upload a photo of your flying blue membership card. It works from Platinum Flying Blue to any Sixt status up until Platinum.

US-based, previously status matched to Preferred Plus via National Executive status. Contacted the company's Avis point of contact and was status matched to PC via Sixt status in around a week. Had to provide a screenshot of Sixt status and Avis wizard #.
