Got a positive response in less than 24 hours: "I have just upgraded you to Privilege Elite status according to your status with Hertz [...] To achieve Privilege Elite VIP status, you still need 40 rentals (130 rental days). You have two years from today's date to collect these rentals."

Emailed [email protected] with a screenshot of my Avis President's Club card. They replied : I have well taken your request concerning your status match. Unfortunately, to qualify for a status match you would need to have a minimum of two (2) bookings associated with your Europcar Privilege program. Please be informed that there isn't a requirement that they are completed rentals. They need to be placed as upcoming reservations. Note that last paragraph, I only needed to book 2 reservations (pay at the counter) and will cancel free of charge later. After making two bookings I emailed again and they matched my status to Elite the day after. Don't forget to cancel both bookings after!

Emailed [email protected] with a photo of my Hertz Presidents Circle card as well as a screenshot of my Hertz Presidents Circle info, plus screenshots of my Sixt Platinum and National Executive Elite status (both of which I used presidents circle status matches to get). Was upgraded in 12 hours to EuropCar elite status and my online profile already shows my status. Note I have a couple of past rentals with Europcar worth thousands, a current rental for over a month worth a thousand and I made a booking for a month in May which was $2700 as some people have said they have received reply's saying they need at least 2 bookings. once my status was matched I cancelled the May $2700 booking at no cost as it was far away enough to not incur any penalty
