I contacted the Shangri-La Golden Circle - Mership and Loyalty Services Team, and provided my IHG Intercontinental Ambassador Status Membership Materials, among some more of my high up statuses with other large hotel companies/chains and travel groups, after having some difficulty finding an appropriate email address, I contacted some Shangri-La hotels accross the world. I got an email back saying my request was being processed within 24 hours, and after 3 days/72 hours, I got my status match approved and I was upgraded.
