E-mailed them (back and forth). They required proof of higher status at several other hotel loyalty programs and upcomming bookings at Thon Hotels. As i provided them with proof of this BW Diamond, Choice Privileges Platinum, Marriot Gold , and added that I have Eurobonus gold and United Gold status. I also provides proof of recent stayes at the other hotels where I have higher status and several upcoming bookings at Thon, I finaly got matched. It took some time, but it was worth the effort.

After inquiry I got this response: Status Match can be requested when you have made at least two flights with us. You will have to provide us with a recent flight activity statement from your LUTHANSA-Senator / Star Alliance Gold-Status (of at least 6 months) as well as a scanned copy of your LUTHANSA-Senator / Star Alliance Gold-Status card. At the FFP manager's discretion, status match can be given if everything checks out. At the moment, I am afraid you are ineligible for this option. After sending this, I had to ask again, they claimed not to have got my mail. I did resend it, then got this: Congratulations! Your status has now been upgraded to Nomad Club Gold.
