Logged into TAP account and filled out the status matching form on https://www.flytap.com/en-pt/miles-and-go/promotions/status-match-campaign.
A little over two weeks later, received an email from TAP stating that the status match has been validated. The next step is to subscribe to TAP Miles&Go Club (alternatively make a purchase of 4,000 miles). Ended up signing up for Club Basic ($122) of Miles&Go Club. Four days later, received a confirmation email of TAP Gold status for 12 months .
