Registered for Frontiers status match program back in August. Received an email today that I am now eligible for the program, however, after entering in all the required info it then ask for a one time $99 payment for the match. I typically fly American and only use Frontier for my flights to Vegas a couple times a year so im not sure the cost for the status is worth it. Still deciding, but wanted to share for those who might be interested in their status match program.

Spoke to them twice and also emailed through the correct channels and it was a no all ways. The email went on to say they match at their discretion. Hmm. Currently Emirates Gold and have booked 1st class LHR to HKT with Etihad. This made no impact.

I called customer service to ask for a status match / challenge. I was told they would waive all fees associated with the challenge and I received details of the status match within 24 hours. I was matched to Platinum. Challenge period lasts in 4 month increments. I will end up at Executive Platinum within the first four months.
